Courts OPEN

COVID-19 - 22nd OCTOBER 2021 UPDATE - UPDATED RESTRICTIONS

With the recent Victorian Government’s announcement that Victoria has reached the 70% double dose COVID vaccination target, the Government has announced further easing of restrictions for community sport. Following confirmation from the City of Greater Dandenong, the Club is pleased to announce that ALL Courts can now open with the following restrictions.

Member Bookings Restrictions:

ALL Courts open. No Curfew in place - courts will remain open until normal closing times. NO spectators allowed. Only the required number of people per court is permitted, that is, 2 for singles play and 4 for doubles play. A supervisory parent/guardian may attend with their child.

Please contact tennisultd@gmail.com for more information regarding Coaching guidelines.

Competition is NOT allowed under the current restrictions.

We ask all members to adhere to your booking session. Do not overstay your booking time or move courts.

We also ask ALL Members to adhere to the mask wearing, physical distancing and record keeping practices as well as the Key Conditions for Bookings as listed below.

Return to Tennis Guidelines: Guidelines have been developed to reduce the likelihood of contracting the virus while playing tennis. Please review the guidelines which are available here: https://www.tennis.com.au/vic/news-and-events/latest-covid-updates-for-victoria. Access to the Venue is provided on the basis that you will, at all times while at the Venue, adhere to those Guidelines.

Non-compliance could result in the cancellation of your membership and/or booking rights as well as possible fines by government officials.

Physical Distancing and Facilities

Everyone in the facility must practice physical distancing at all times by being 1.5 metres apart from one another, unless they are from the same household.

Toilet facilities and the clubhouse will NOT be open. Toilet facilities are available on the reserve.

Record Keeping

  2. Social distancing must be applied.

  3. Bring your own tennis equipment, sanitiser and drink. Bring a glove or plastic bag to protect your hands when using the Pin Pad at the gate for entry or any other surfaces. No food or drink should be shared, and drinking taps have been closed.
